[ Well, Blade is going to be wandering around, and this time, he comes across a familiar place...
The ballroom.
Anyone inside? And what are they doing? He's definitely not going to say anything as he walks in because he isn't the type of person to be abide by social graces. ]
[ He is, possibly unsurprisingly, messing with the phonograph, rotating through the vinyls and letting the classical music play just loud enough to fill the room. He seems pretty enraptured in the music, but he catches Blade in his peripheral vision, and he turns. ]
Indeed – I'm only familiar with the CD player and MP3 players that I was only just shown recently, but it seems like this device fills that same purpose of playing music. And the selection's quite intriguing.
[ Blade notices this and lapse into silence, seeming to consider the thought. Richard seems awfully excited, so it encourages him to talk a bit more about it. ]
...Lately, whatever my compatriots liked.
Kafka...she likes the type of music you were playing too. Classical music.
[ Ironic, isn't it? ]
Silver Wolf probably liked something experimental. Digital.
Though, I believe ultimately I would gravitate to pieces from the Xianzhou.
Seems like quite the travelling party. Those types of music sound like they're very different for one another – it must make for an interesting experience together.
Well, I suppose so. I had a few vassals following me around during my travels, and the strange mage who decided to embed himself with me... I suppose you could call it a travelling party.
[ not to mention the big army he had at his disposal, but like. that's not the vibe, maybe? ]
[ There's a little contradiction in there, but at least he's grateful. He's just bad at expressions of consideration towards his person...but he is sipping at the water. He supposes that he is something like parched, given how much speaking was needed. ]
[ Blade takes another sip of his water, blinking, and letting the words settle in for a moment. ]
Yes. It was...not looking pleasant before then.
[ Putting it extremely mildly. The revelations that came were pretty much unpleasant and people were fighting even harder - and then, yes, Sabo's murder. He takes another moment to consider that as well. ]
We were able to get someone with certainty. Even if not all mysteries were solved completely.
[ Another pause as he looks at him, taking another sip. ]
...He tends to be like that. Maybe it's because of the rules behind this so-called setup he seems to have created. Even if he has gotten immersed into it.
[ ... ]
A leap of faith can lead to the right answer. Even if it's not always the case.
[ He hopes that Andrew appreciates it; wherever she is. And that she gets a chance to get in one last smack, even if it may be impossible. ]
week 2, wednesday
The ballroom.
Anyone inside? And what are they doing? He's definitely not going to say anything as he walks in because he isn't the type of person to be abide by social graces. ]

Oh, what a surprise. What brings you here, Blade?
no subject
Wandering.
...Why are you in here? For the music?
no subject
no subject
Where I'm from, we usually use holographic music players. Or some other high-tech device.
...I haven't used this room for anything. What do you find intriguing about the selection?
no subject
Oh, really? [ He sparkles excitedly at the idea of that. ] What sort of music do you normally listen to on them, then?
no subject
...Lately, whatever my compatriots liked.
Kafka...she likes the type of music you were playing too. Classical music.
[ Ironic, isn't it? ]

[ ... ]
...You seem like a person with a traveling party.
no subject
[ blinks at that. ]
Well, I suppose so. I had a few vassals following me around during my travels, and the strange mage who decided to embed himself with me... I suppose you could call it a travelling party.
[ not to mention the big army he had at his disposal, but like. that's not the vibe, maybe? ]
no subject
[ Maybe it's the type of personality he has; jovial and the...armor? Or maybe that is just his imagination... ]
...Something like that, then.
Maybe not quite the same as in stories. But a group of travelers of some sort.
no subject
[ He's... embarrassed, maybe? ]
What about your group? Surely there's more of a story there, to tell.
no subject
Never heard much about them. But, I don't know much about any stories you would have to tell, either.
[ So, he isn't in a position to argue, no matter which way it's looked at. ]
The Stellaron Hunters have many stories. Only because we've been to many worlds; many places. Though, they're not all exciting ones.
Some, at times were necessary for intelligence gathering. Other times, other various tasks. But, no epics. None like what Knights might have.
w3, post-trial
Come to think a bit?
no subject
A little.
Did you?
no subject
[ That's why Richard's got the glass! He'll pass it over to Blade. ]
I thought you might need it.
no subject
...Not necessary. But, maybe I do need it.
It's thoughtful.
[ There's a little contradiction in there, but at least he's grateful. He's just bad at expressions of consideration towards his person...but he is sipping at the water. He supposes that he is something like parched, given how much speaking was needed. ]
It's been a long day.
no subject
It has. At least we arrived at the better conclusion, I suppose.
[ The question about what happened to Sabo, though, still feels like a frustrating mystery, even if it's clear he didn't want it to be solved. ]
no subject
Yes. It was...not looking pleasant before then.
[ Putting it extremely mildly. The revelations that came were pretty much unpleasant and people were fighting even harder - and then, yes, Sabo's murder. He takes another moment to consider that as well. ]
We were able to get someone with certainty. Even if not all mysteries were solved completely.
no subject
[ He sighs. ]
But yes, we were able to make the right decision, in the end. I suppose that's the important thing.
[ It's not always a guarantee, it seems. ]
no subject
...He tends to be like that. Maybe it's because of the rules behind this so-called setup he seems to have created. Even if he has gotten immersed into it.
